Pet status
Well we still have 2 cats + 1 wanderer cat whom we’re fostering ;) The four mice are well, as are most of the snails and the wee fishies Teddy’s a bit manic, we think he thinks he’s a cat – it’s most odd as he keeps trying to make friends with pumpkin. quite amusing they are.
Maisy had a little turn last week that resulted in a blood vessel in her right eye going again, so right now she has one red eye and a normal one. She seems ok otherwise, it’s just a symptom of her kidney disease so we’re keeping her on the tablets and she’s picked up bless her.
Mikey’s coming along famously bless him although he does seem to spend the days sleeping under his fleecy blanket – quite cute when he pops out bless him.
Our thoughts are with Sam’s parents though – the border collie, Bessie, isn’t well at the minute – hope she pulls through

BCS awards etc.
From the BCS
Quote: Anna Duckworth BCS Head of Corporate Marketing said: “Year on year the standard of entries increases and this year is no exception with innovative projects which showcase excellence in IT. The next stage of judging will be very difficult as our expert panel endeavours to select the outright winners for each award.”
The BCS IT Industry awards are the leading hallmark of success amongst practitioners in the IT industry today. As standards of sophistication, business acumen and skill in the IT world are continually developing, the role of IT and its effective management is critical across the whole spectrum of business. These cross-industry awards recognise, promote and acclaim excellence, professionalism, innovation and the outstanding achievements to which individuals and groups contribute.
note to my boy
hey – you’re not even born yet and already off to the theatre. You’re seeing Wicked tonight up near victoria. Oh, and you’re giving your mum a taste for Chilli’s and hot stuff which she never liked before – quite amusing.

bioshock succumbs to my mighty skillz
well – i finished it. Great story, thought the last two levels lacked some of the same strength of story but very cool. Not sure what the game would be like if you killed all the little girls but as a saviour I found the end very satisfying. I completed it once having let one of the girls die so went back and made sure they all lived – it did change the ending if you’re interested (not trying to give too much away .. )
great game – good story. erm. all finished. NEXT?
Probably ought to finish zelda and resident evil on the wii ;o)
